We replaced Big Deal this past summer with our new stud ram, "Haven Point Dorsets" 0707 E.T. PA 74-HPD07. "Charlie" as he is known on the farm won his class at Sedalia, 2007.
Our second ram, 'Blue Ribbon Inspiration', son of the Grand Champion "Indy" Shea Laycock 781 has recently been replaced; however, we have many of his daughters. Those ewes, crossed with 'Big Deal' have added extra length and height to make an exceptional lamb. Our now deceased son of "Summit" Raders 93-150 gave our flock a strong foundation producing thick boned, wide hipped, solid brood ewes. Building on this foundation, 'Big Deal' is adding another dimension to an already handsome herd.

The ewe lamb on the left is our recent fall '05 BLUE RIBBON FARM #1080. She is the daughter of BIG DEAL and our Indiana purchased MITHOEFER ewe. We knew they would make a good combination and we were right! She's FOR SALE at the New England Sale in July.
SHE SOLD!! #1080 placed 2nd in her class and was the HIGH SELLING fall ewe at the National Dorset Show and Sale. Thank you to the Brent Waggoner Family in Pennsylvania.
The ewes on the right are a few of our 2004 crop. They are available here at the farm.
Our 2006 Fall Lambs are now yearlings and will be exposed to our new Haven Point ram in April. We are excited to see how our Big Deal daughters cross with Charlie.
