Mary earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Visual & Performing Arts from the University of Maine at Farmington with a major in Fine Arts. She obtained her fine arts credits from the Portland School of Art known more recently as the Maine College of Art.
Over the years she has displayed her work in solo shows, small group shows, juried shows and local art galleries. Her work can be found in private collections within the United States, Australia, Italy, England and Germany.
Mary’s art is a reflection of her environment, whether it mirrors her surroundings or is the influence in formal abstractions; her work is the representational diary of a life-long journey. As life changes, so does her subject matter in addition to the experimental nature of her mediums and styles of applying those mediums. They range from oils, pastels, oil stick, charcoal and digital and a mixture of some or all.
